About Almas Tower

The Almas Tower The Almas Tower, located in Jumeirah Lake Towers' Free Zone is the tallest commercial building in the Middle East. Designed by Atkins Middle East and constructed by the Taisei Corporation of Japan in a joint venture with ACC (Arabian Construction Co.), Almas, which means ""diamond"" in Arabic, provides a transparent, secure and sophisticated platform for diamond traders to grow their business with ease and confidence as well as encourage and grow the trade of diamonds through Dubai. Construction of the commercial office building began in early 2005 and was completed in 2009, when it became the third-tallest building in Dubai, after Emirates Park Towers and Burj Khalifa. The 63-floor, purpose built tower is home to over 300 regional and international companies from the entire value chain in the diamonds and coloured stones sector. It was ranked 8th in the Emporis Skyscraper Award 2010.
