Dubai Real Estate Transactions Hit Dhs 17 Billion In May 2018

Dubai Land Department (DLD) reported a total of Dhs 17 Billion worth of property transactions in May 2018, an increased from the figure around Dhs 16 Billion in April of the same year.

The total amount covered both sales and mortgage transactions for commercial, plots, and residential properties. According to Dubai Land Department’s report, a Dhs 1.4 Billion worth of property transactions was generated on May 23, 2018, and considered as the most productive business day in the month of may.

Furthermore, the land department released a report stating over Dhs 57.9 Billion worth of property transactions in the first quarter of 2018. Also, Dubai reached more than Dhs 57.9 Billion worth of transactions last year (2017) from Dhs 268.71 Billion transactions in 2016.
