Very disappointing, extremely unprofessional, and unacceptable experience with FAM Properties. I wanted to view an apartment through this agency twice, and unfortunately, both experiences were extremely negative. The first time, I arranged a viewing and arrived at the building as agreed. The agent was late, and I was waiting for her in the lobby. Instead of simply apologising for being late or communicating professionally, she texted me in a very rude manner telling me that I had to go outside and meet her there, and that she had never told me to go to the lobby without her. The way she communicated with me was completely inappropriate. I decided not to tolerate this attitude and simply left the building. At that time, I did not complain to FAM Properties about the agent’s behaviour. The second time, I contacted the agency again to arrange a viewing. Another agent asked whether I was a mortgage or cash buyer. I replied that I was a mortgage buyer, after which his response was simply “emm”, followed by a request to share my mortgage pre-approval document. I do not feel safe sharing my private financial documents, especially with an agent I do not know at all, without even knowing where this document will be stored, who will have access to it, or with whom it will be shared. I clearly explained my concerns to the agent. His response was that the owner of the apartment would not allow me to view his property if I did not share the document. I then made a very reasonable request: if this agent was not willing to arrange the viewing without the document, could another agent please assist me with the viewing? Instead of trying to help, I received an extremely rude response that they would not arrange the viewing for me with another agent. I find this extremely difficult to understand and completely unacceptable. I am a genuine buyer, and I find it unreasonable to be expected to provide private and sensitive financial documents before I am even given the chance to see the apartment, assess the property, and decide whether I actually want to purchase it. What is even more disappointing is the way this entire situation was handled. I experienced very unprofessional and disrespectful communication from both agents, followed by an equally unprofessional response from the customer service representative when I tried to find a simple solution. I have dealt with many real estate agencies, but this was by far one of the most unpleasant experiences. A potential buyer should not have to deal with rude communication simply for asking to view a property, nor should they be pressured to share confidential financial documents without clear information about how those documents will be handled. After two separate attempts, I have had no chance to see the apartment at all — not because I am not a serious buyer, but because of the way FAM Properties chose to deal with me. Extremely unprofessional customer service and communication. I would not recommend this agency based on my experience.
