Sobha Realty has begun construction on a groundbreaking community mall at its flagship Sobha Hartland development in Dubai, set to open in the second half of 2026. This innovative project, estimated to cost AED 210 million ($57 million), aims to merge retail vibrancy with urban serenity, offering an exceptional experience for both residents and visitors.
Ravi Menon, Co-Chairman of Sobha Group, expressed his excitement about the new venture, stating,

The mall, boasting a built-up area of approximately 339,000 square feet and a gross leasable area of about 115,000 square feet, will host an array of amenities. These include a supermarket, gym, play courts, a soft play/entertainment zone, and a variety of dining options. The development will feature 35 retail shops and dining outlets, establishing it as a new gastronomic hub in the community.
Sobha Realty’s commitment to sustainability is reflected in the mall's design, which incorporates greenery, water features, natural lighting, energy-efficient systems, solar panels, and green building materials. The inclusion of a skylight roof will allow natural light to flood the interior, enhancing the overall ambiance and supporting plant growth.
Incorporating advanced technology, the mall will feature interactive displays, smart lighting systems, and digital wayfinding to enhance the visitor experience. Unique architectural elements, such as a dramatic cascading void and a strategically placed media screen, will elevate the mall's visual appeal.
The mall's biophilic design includes green walls, floating pods, and natural lighting, fostering a tranquil environment. Strategically located to offer excellent views from Ras Al Khor Road, the mall is set to become a pivotal community hub, promoting a sense of togetherness and elevating the quality of life for Sobha Hartland residents.
