Revealed: Dubai's most popular place to live and rent

A new report has revealed Dubai’s favorite place for homebuyers and renters.

Dubai Marina, the affluent residential neighborhood in the marina district in the city, took the number spot of the city’s most popular area for the first half of 2018. It was a most-sought area that it received twice as much searches than Downtown Dubai, another favorite.

According to a report, Dubai Marina received twice as many searches as Downtown Dubai, mega development in the heart of the Emirate.

Palm Jumeirah, Arabian Ranches and Jumeirah Village Circle were the top areas most searched for by prospective homebuyers.

During the second half of the year, JVC was replaced by Jumeirah Lakes Towers after falling four spots.

In the first half of 2018, Dubai Marina joined Downtown Dubai, Palm Jumeirah, Al Barsha, and Jumeirah in terms of renters’ satisfaction.

While in the second half the year, Al Barsha and Business Bay moved to the fourth and fifth spot, respectively.

Other areas homebuyers and renters are keeping an eye on are Arabian Ranches 3, Dubai Creek Harbour, Emaar Beachfront, Dubai Creek Beach.

Also it was noted that demand for renting outweighed demand from buying properties.
