Dubai's Eye in the Sky

Residents of JBR (Jumeirah Beach Residence), the Palm and Dubai Marina  have now become used to living with the mammoth structure being raised in their back yards, as Dubai brings up another landmark in the series of the world’s biggest and best. Ain Dubai, or the Dubai Eye is the world’s largest observation wheel which beats similar offerings – such as Las Vegas High Roller, London Eye and the Singapore Flyer – to the crown.

So What Does the Bluewaters Island Offer?

Bluewaters is Dubai’s 7th man-made island which connects to mainland Dubai via a bridge. The dedicated 4-lane bridge connects the island directly to Sh. Zayed Road – cutting through the infamous dense traffic of Dubai Marina and JBR. Other access options include a Water Bus and an innovative, driverless Group Rapid Transport system (GRTS). The GRTS will have 25 autonomous vehicles ferrying 2,500 people an hour in each direction on a 4.5 minute journey between Bluewaters and the Dubai Metro. There is also a 265-metre long pedestrian bridge that links the island to more lifestyle amenities at The Beach on JBR.

Apart from the Ain Dubai, the Bluewaters island offers a host of retail, residential, hospitality, entertainment and F&B zones which bolster the investment potential of the area. Ten low-rise residential buildings offer apartments consisting of one to four bedroom options and 17 Townhouses which are strategically placed to maximize views of the open sea. Residents will experience a vibrant lifestyle in Bluewaters, as this trendy community is going to have 200 retail and dining outlets, leisure and entertainment venues and a lively plaza that will host artists from all over the world.

Bluewaters promises a life that blends waterfront living and an urban lifestyle with an assortment of unique apartments, penthouses, and townhouses. Homeowners will live in a community that features a private landscaped garden podium, four swimming pools, changing facilities, a children’s pool, splash pad, play area, two basketball courts, two gyms and a dedicated fitness area. Bluewaters' construction is approaching a 75% milestone with 90% of the buildings currently undergoing the façade work. Five major projects are currently underway including the iconic centerpiece - Ain Dubai that will reach heights over 210 metres. Two new Hotel resorts are also under construction and will open with the rest of the development in Q1 2018.
