Yansoon
The Old Town is a combination of low-rise 3-storey apartment buildings and mid-rise towers with penthouses, and offers a counterpoint to the sharply contemporary Burj Khalifa, the core of emerging downtown district. It features childrens play area inside, outside, children swimming pool, clubhouse, fire alarm system, firefighting system, fitness club, and game room, and garbage disposal, secure play areas for children, secure underground parking, sky lounge, smart systems, squash courts, steam room, swimming pool, table tennis, tennis court, and visitor parking. Architectural cues are taken from traditional buildings with textures that reflect the gypsum, clay or sarjool plastering used in the early twentieth century. Earthy natural tones reflect the surrounding landscape. Terraces, balconies, parapets (waresh), pergolas, recesses and niches make for comfortable outdoor living, whilst views are enhanced with elegant window and door openings. Residents will live in one of six quarters, Yansoon, Reehan, Miska, Zaafaran, Zanzabeel, or Kamoon. Old Town residents can pick an interior to suit their taste. The choices are; the standard option, with three different colour schemes or the upgrade suite option.
