The Dubai Land Department (DLD) has launched an exciting initiative to rebrand 28 neighborhoods across the city. This change is not just about new names but about redefining the character and identity of some of Dubai’s most prominent districts.
One of the most notable changes is the renaming of Sheikh Zayed Road to Burj Khalifa, linking it directly to Dubai’s iconic landmark. In another major update, Emirates Hills has been divided into Al Thanyah Third, Fourth, and Fifth, giving these upscale residential areas a more localized feel.
This renaming effort is part of DLD’s larger mission to modernize and streamline Dubai’s geographic identifiers, making them more reflective of the city’s dynamic landscape and future ambitions.
Here are some key projects highlighted by the name changes: Formerly known simply as Ranches, home to Arabian Ranches 1 has been renamed Wadi Al Safa 6. This change brings a refreshed identity to one of Dubai’s most sought-after residential communities, known for its family-friendly atmosphere and top-notch amenities
The prestigious project, District One West, once located in Al Goze Second, now finds itself in the area of Ghadeer Al Tair. District One West is part of the larger District One community and offers residents an elite living experience, surrounded by beautiful landscapes and world-class facilities.
Previously part of Al Yufrah 2, Damac Hills 2 is now within the newly named Madinat Hind 4.
