Can an investor cancel their contract with the developer without going to court?

Dubai Land Department does not have the authority to cancel contracts between investors and developers at the investor’s request. If an investor wishes to terminate the contract, they must refer the matter to the relevant real estate court. DLD’s role is limited to facilitating communication and attempting to resolve the dispute amicably, without making any legal decisions regarding the contract’s termination.
