January 2017 Transactions Break Records in Dubai

January 2017 demonstrated a record breaking month for off plan and ready property transactions compared to January transactions in all the years prior. The Dubai Land Department which regulates property affairs in Dubai, released that January 2017 had 5,262 transactions with 56% being off plan and 44% as ready transactions

In terms of ready properties, Jan 2017 witnessed 2,326 transactions amounted to AED 13.7 billion resulting in an increase of 15% and 60% with regard to number and value of transactions respectively against Jan 2016.  On the other hand, there were 2,936 off-plan transactions amounted to AED 5.491 billion making a growth of 415% and  232% in terms of number and value of transactions over Jan 2016.
